Baked apple rolls 

SERVES 2-3
PREPARATION & COOKING TIME: 30 MINUTES

ingredients

100g (1)                red apple, peeled & grated
1g (¼ tsp)            cinnamon powder

4 sheets               popiah skin
10g (1tbsp)         melted butter

Black & white sesame seeds, for garnishing

METHOD

Preheat the oven at 190⁰C.  Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

TO PREPARE THE FILLING:
 Mix the grated apples and cinnamon powder together .

TO MAKE THE ROLLS:
Place a piece of popiah skin on a flat plate.  Put some grated apples on one of the corners of the popiah.  Wrap up the apples with the popiah skin and ensure the ends are tucked. 

Arrange the rolls on the baking tray.  Brush the popiah with some melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake the rolls in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
